- Would
you pay money to destroy the site of the 1969 Woodstock Music & Arts
Festival??
-
-
- If
you're a taxpayer in New York State, you already DID!
Billionaire
Alan Gerry donated $75,000. to New York State Republicans (Times Herald-Record).
The Pataki administration then gave Alan Gerry 15 MILLION dollars in TAXPAYER
money to build his Performing Arts Center in Bethel, NY and to destroy forever
the historical site that hosted 500,000 visitors in August of 1969 and countless
visitors for the past 33 years.
Now
the Governor announces that he is cutting aid to schools by 1.24 BILLION
dollars. Apparently, destroying a cultural and historical landmark is more
important than our children's education. Does this make any sense?
Contact
your local Representatives and tell them it's WRONG!
